Consider these before you decide to own a car, or if you have a car then continue to consider the following so that your car does not get tired early

1. Do small and big service/maintenance within a period of time. Minor maintenance means changing the engine oil and gear box within a period of time, cleaning the air filter and checking the brake system. Major repairs include minor repairs and things like adjusting shock ups, bearings, joints, bushings, or anything else that needs to be changed on your car. if you can do this, your car will always remain in its best condition and it will save you from the most serious consequences that can cost you money and even life by delaying these problems in time.

2. Inspect your car every morning before you start your journey. the inspection mentioned here is for things like the level of engine oil and gear box, water in the radiator, tires and nuts and all the brake and big lights. if the oil has decreased due to the leakage after the car hit the sample in the holes we pass, you will have the opportunity to take appropriate action, if the nuts are loose you will have time to tighten them, if the lights are not working you will be able to change them and thus enable you to make good communicationand other road users to avoid accidents etc. It has become common for many of us Tanzanians to feel that a new car does not need regular inspection and thus we put ourselves at risk without knowing it which can cost money and even the user's lifeother road users.

3. Don't drive over potholes at high speed. There is a culture that is being built for some of us Tanzanians who use fire engines to want to run even in parts that are for going at a normal speed, another goes through the dirt road at a high speed without knowing it and loosens the board and other equipment in his car because of the shock the biggest one in the car.this is the same as when you borrow someone a car today and stay with it for 2 days but when he returns it you find that it has grown very different, in the same way even if you do not use the vehicle in a civilized way then the possibility of damaging it is high and so you may have to incur expenses that you did not plan for and in the end it maymaking your car look shabby and devalued.

4. The cleanliness of your car is important.the neat appearance inside and outside of your vehicle makes its value not go down as fast as someone who doesn't clean his car regularly, but also for those who pass by on muddy roads, when you delay cleaning the mud under the car that gets stuck on the galvanized, there is a high possibility that your car will catch rust and thus destroy the relevant areas.but it is also important that you try not to lower the windows frequently so that dust does not enter inside and contaminate the roof, dashboard, as well as the AC channels, if the AC vents are contaminated there is a very high possibility that your car will be devalued when you need to sell it... personally I am writing to you here, I sold the carI have been using it for 5 years at the same price as the one I bought because everything was found to be in good condition except the AC and the cleanliness of the Dashboard gave the customer peace of mind that the car has been well taken care of.

5. Park the car in safe places with enough space.for the residents of Lagos, parking has become a challenge and we often have to park cars close to each other, the consequences are that when you park a car in a narrow corner or an area where cars are close to each other, the possibility of being run over by other drivers is high. if your car is scratched often, you will have to paint it often and when the time comes to sell, the buyer will see that the car is heavily painted, so he will devalue it by that criterion.

6. Refuel from gas stations and take the receipt. This is one of the ways to protect your engine from unscrupulous oil retailers who buy oil and mix it for their own profit and thus put your car at risk of engine damage. this thing in big cities has decreased a lot these days compared to some countries and its regions where sometimes gas stations are far away so they have to buy fuel and sell it retail, its effects can also be in the dirt that stagnates in those tanksyou can damage the pump or the tank plug.

7. Don't get used to leaving the car to someone else.this is because everyone has their own care of the vehicle, it is possible that there has been a problem so that he does not tell you for fear that you will treat him as a vandal, but also if this person has an accident if it is a private car, the insurance companies may decide not to pay you because the law does not recognize anyonewho you loaned a car to, they pay in maintaining a good relationship with their customers.

8. Practice not carrying people or heavy loads beyond the vehicle's capacity. Each car has a set weight limit that is recommended to carry, when the load is bigger it damages the shock up system, the balance is not good on the road and you also have to use more fuel because the car is getting heavier.

9. Step on the oil slowly while letting your car mix itself.this is for those who believe that running will get you where you are going quickly, a person is driving a car for example in the city of Lagos which has the challenge of queues here and there, if you go a few steps ahead you will find him stopping and nothing he has ever done, without knowing you are hurting yourself in the use of fuel, when you step on itoil and the RPM arrow goes up a lot, so the oil consumption happens at a faster rate as well.part of using 10 liters, you will find you have used 15 liters or more and thus make you see that your car is consuming a lot of oil, but the car has no problem unless the problem is the way you step.

10. Don't ignore anything unusual in your car. For example, the noise of the metal on the ground like worn out bushings, shick ups, warning lights on the dashboard, etc. It is quite possible that the bushings have worn out and the metal collided with each otherare disconnected from the area and thus your car endangers your safety and that of other users.

Many of us have grown up treating the warning lights as an electrical short without conducting an examination by experts and thus finding yourself having problems on the road.
